ORPHEUS MOZAİK KONSERVASYONU
Konuralp’in güneyinde bulunan ve Roma döneminden kalma iki önemli mozaiğin konservasyon çalışmaları 2013 yılında tamamlanarak teşhir edilecektir.
Düzce’nin Konuralp beldesi sınırları içerisinde bulunan Prusias ad Hypium antik kentinin güneyinde çıkarılan ve Roma Dönemine ait iki önemli Orpheus mozaiğinin 2012 yılında başlayan konservasyon çalışmaları bu yıl tamamlanarak teşhir edilecektir.
Konservasyon çalışmaları devam eden mozaiklerden birinde Yunan Mitolojisi kahramanı Akilleus ve annesi Thetis ile ilgili bir sahne, diğerinde ise Yunan Mitolojisinin destansı ozanı Orpheus’un temsil edildiği mozaikler bulunmaktadır.
